What is the Major Difference Between Tagboard and Poster Board?

Tagboard: A thin, tough, lightweight Cardboard. Tagboard, or oaktag, is usually made from a combination of Jute and sulfate pulps. The stiff Paperboard most often has a smooth finish and manila color. Tagboard is used for posters, file folders, stencils, and shipping tags.

Poster Board: A thin, stiff, smooth surface cardboard. Poster boards are available in white or colored varieties. Standard size poster boards are 22 x 28 inches or 28 x 44 inches with thicknesses ranging from 0.024 to 0.030 inches. They are used for advertisements, posters, and school projects.
